How to Quench Your Thirst When You Hate Plain Water
Thirsty? Quenching your thirst can be a challenge if you don’t like drinking plain water.
You have to creative with you should be drinking to stay hydrated to prevent all the yucky feelings that come with being dehydrated.
We are going to share some tips on how you can change the flavor of water by simply infusing it. Fill up your favorite smart water bottle with something you actually want to drink throughout the day or during your workout.
Just a side note: when making these infused waters, you will have to prepare them far in advance. Typically 12 hours or overnight will give you the most optimal flavor. Also, when you are about to drink your infused water - don’t add too much ice as it may take away some of the flavors.
Lemon and Lime
We’ve all heard or have tried adding lemon to water...but adding the lime with the lemon adds its own flavor making it more delicious!
Slice up one whole lemon and one whole lime. Add the slices to your water. Place the water in a big jug in the fridge for 12 hours so the water really absorbs the citrus flavor.
By allowing the water to sit with the lemon and lime - you are really going to get the powerful lemon and lime infused water to taste.
After you have let the water set then fill up your smart water bottle or gym water jug.
You can leave the slices in if you want, but this is totally optional.
Blackberry and Mint
If the whole citrus flavor isn’t your thing. Then no worries. If you love the powerful taste of mint, then this a combination that you want to try!
Add a handful of blackberries and as much mint as you desire to your water. Place the water in a big jug in the fridge for 12 hours, so the fruit combination flavors are at its optimal level.
Let the water set in your fridge then fill up your smart water bottle or gym water jug.
You will taste the refreshing mint flavor with the subtle flavor of the blackberries. It will remind of you a mojito, but virgin of course! There is no other combination like this one.
Raspberry and Lime
Raspberry and lime make a unique combination that not a lot of people think of or try, but you definitely should!
Add a handful of raspberries and a slice up a whole lime to your water. Place the water in a big jug in the fridge for 12 hours, so the fruit combination flavors are at its optimal level.
Let the water set in your fridge then fill up your smart water bottle or gym water jug.
